Background: National Sports Centre Inc. (the “Company”) would like to introduce you to the Text to Win contest (the “Contest”).

Eligibility: The Contest is open to all visitors and customers of participating National Sports store located in Ontario, Canada (the “Entrants”) provided that such Entrants are at least the age of majority and are legal residents of Canada. The Contest is void or the Entrant ineligible where the legal requirements or restrictions of any jurisdiction prohibit or render illegal the Contest or the eligibility of an individual. You are not eligible to enter if you are (or you are related to) an employee, officer, director, representative, agent, consultant or supplier of (i) the Company, (ii) or any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees or licensees. The Company, in its sole discretion, shall determine the eligibility of Entrants. Employees, inspectors, officers, and directors of the Company, its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of such persons, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Entrants that do not comply with the Contest Rules are not eligible to win a prize.

Method of Entry: To enter, eligible Entrants must text the word “SPREE” to the designated toll free number during March 12, 2018 and March 18, 2018. An Entrant may only text maximum once per day.

There is no cost to participate and no purchase is necessary. Entrant is solely responsible for any and all carrier fees that may apply. Where applicable, all entries become the property the Company and will not be returned. The winner must meet the eligibility requirements set forth in these Contest Rules in order to qualify for the prize. All decisions made by the Company or its designees shall be final and binding. The Company reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant from the Contest, and any future contest or other promotion conducted by the Company, and to prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law, any Entrant who, in the Company's reasonable opinion: tampers with the entry process or the Contest; violates the Contest Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. In the event of disqualification of any winner, the Company may replace such winner with the next runner-up in its sole discretion. The odds of winning depend upon the total number of entries received for the Contest. Winner will be selected by a draw.

Contest of Skill: The potential winners will be required to answer a skill testing question. The skill test will be administered by telephone at a mutually convenient time. The potential winners will be required to answer the skill testing question without electronic, mechanical or other assistance and there will be a time limit for providing the answer. The potential winners may be required to sign a declaration confirming compliance with these requirements.

Prize: There will be one grand prize. The prize is a $1000.00 One Thousand Dollar National Sports Gift Card. The prize is not transferable and no substitutions (including for cash) are permitted, except the Company reserves the right to substitute the prize of equal or greater monetary value to the prizes if for any reason any prize cannot be awarded as contemplated in these Contest Rules or for any other reason as determined by the Company in its sole discretion. Any costs or expenses incurred by winners in claiming or using their prize not specifically described are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any unused portion of the prize, once awarded, will be deemed forfeited by the applicable winner and no compensation will be made or required in respect of such unused portion. If a selected entrant does not fulfill the conditions set out in these rules, or declines or forfeits a prize, the Company reserves the right, in their absolute discretion, to cancel the prize or to select another entrant from the remaining eligible entries.

Notification of Winner: The winner of the Contest will be announced shortly after March 18, 2018. The winner of the Contest will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone. The winner of the Contest must sign and return a confirmation of eligibility and compliance with these Contest Rules, a publicity/liability release (unless prohibited by law), and any other requested documents within the time period stipulated in the documents. The winner may be required to provide the Company with proof that the e-mail address written on the winning ballot is associated the winner.

Disclaimer and Limit of Liability: THE COMPANY MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ANY PRIZE OR ENTRANT'S PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST. THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, COST, OR INJURY THAT ARISES FROM OR RELATES TO PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST, OR WINNING OR USE OF A PRIZE.

Release: BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, EACH ENTRANT AND EACH OF ITS HEIRS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS RELEASES AND AGREES TO HOLD HARMLESS THE COMPANY AND THEIR PARENT COMPANIES, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, INSPECTORS AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER (WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, TORT OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY) FOR ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THOSE RELATED TO PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS, RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY OR PRIVACY OR DEFAMATION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH: (I) ENTERING THE CONTEST; (II) ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF ANY PRIZE; OR (III) OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE CONTEST.

Indemnity: Each Entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) and liabilities (including settlements), brought or asserted by any third party against the Company due to or arising out of his or her entry or conduct during and in connection with the Contest, including but not limited to any claims for trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property right infringements, right of publicity, right of privacy or defamation whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory.

Acceptance: By entering into this Contest, all Entrants, whether eligible or ineligible, automatically agree to abide by these Contest Rules.

Privacy: By entering into this Contest, all Entrants, whether eligible or ineligible, consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information, as described in the privacy policies of www.nationalsports.com. Any inquiry concerning the personal information collected, used or disclosed by the Company should be directed by email to the privacy officer set out in the privacy policy.

Governing Law: Unless prohibited by law, the Contest and the rights and obligations of the Company and Entrants will be governed by and controlled by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without reference to the applicable conflict of law provisions. All Entrants consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario and federal court with respect to any action, dispute or other matter pertaining to or arising out of the Contest.

Miscellaneous: Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Company reserves the right, in their absolute discretion, to disqualify without notice and to seek damages or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law.
